This illustrated mail cachet desighed by 11 year old Sydney Cooney commemorating the original 1925 delivery of Diptheria Serum accross the Alaskan frontier will be carried in limited numbers on the dogsled of musher Von Martin. The artwork depicts the 800 mile trail from Nenana to Nome traveled by the Serum Run dog teams and includes a photo of Balto who lead the last relay team into Nome in 1925 and Chewbacca, a near look alike of the original Balto, who will lead Von Martin's dog team during the 2009 Serum Run.
